SMART CARD TECHNOLOGY FOR CAMPGROUNDS

Campsite facility access smart cards are available with different technologies:

Magnetic stripe cards: Available in LoCo or HiCo frequency, these cards need to be inserted into a reader to be read.
Contact cards: These cards have an integrated contact chip that offers greater security. Like the magnetic stripe cards, they also need to be inserted into a reader to function.
RFID cards: Equipped with contactless technology, they grant access or authorise transactions by simply bringing them close to an RFID reader. Campsites RFID cards operate at 125 kHz (Low Frequency) or 13.56 MHz (High Frequency), using either Vicinity or Proximity technology.
