Hitag S cards are contactless RFID cards operating in the LF band at 125 kHz. They have a read/write data transmission mode. In addition, they are equipped with a smart anti-collision feature, which allows several cards to be used simultaneously in the same field without interference.
The memory of these cards has a lock function, which enhances data protection.
Hitag S cards are used for applications in several areas, such as access control and identification; attendance control; loyalty cards and programmes; virtual wallets for self-service machines; and waste management, specifically the use of RFID cards to open access-controlled bins.
They are available in PVC, PETG and wood, in the following sizes: 86 mm x 54 mm x 0.86 mm for PVC and PETG, 86 mm x 54 mm x 1.3 mm for wood.
