The HT005 is a robust RFID hard tag made from high-performance engineered plastic. This material is built to withstand mechanical stress, chemical exposure, and both high and low temperatures. Rectangular in shape, this tag measures 103 x 25 x 6.8 mm and can be securely applied to metal surfaces or other materials using screws or adhesive.
Its read performance varies depending on the mounting surface: when applied to metal, the HT005 can be read up to 5 meters away, while on plastic materials, it reads up to 3 meters. It’s important to note that the actual read range can vary based on the reader, environmental conditions, and the specific application.
Available in both dark grey and light grey, the HT005 operates on UHF (Ultra High Frequency), supporting both European and US standards. It comes equipped with chips UCODE 8, MONZA RP6, and HIGGS 9. Tag customisation is performed using laser technology.
