The HT032 is a specialised “mould tag“, an RFID tag designed to be embedded directly into a product during its manufacturing process via injection moulding. It’s constructed from FPC (Flexible Printed Circuits), which consists of a polyamide or polyester film, renowned for its extreme lightness, thin profile, and flexibility. Rectangular in shape and yellow in colour, it measures 70 x 11 x 0.6 mm and weighs a mere 0.2 grams. This tag is engineered for embedding within non-metallic objects. The HT032 boasts exceptional resistance to very high temperatures and features a HIGGS 3 chip operating on UHF (both European and US frequencies), achieving an impressive read range of up to 9 metres.

With an IP68 rating, the HT032 is protected against prolonged water immersion and is completely hermetic to fumes and dust. This makes the tag ideal for industrial applications, particularly in injection moulding processes where plastic materials are melted (or plasticised) and then injected into a closed mould at high pressure. Its ability to withstand such conditions ensures reliable and seamless product identification from the point of manufacture.
