The HT021 is a “PCB tag“, featuring a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) substrate – an insulating circuit that interconnects various electronic components. This is protected by a fiberglass plate, which is then covered with a thin metallic layer through a high-temperature lamination process. The tag’s surface is finally finished with a slim polycarbonate plate. This round tag is remarkably small and lightweight, with a diameter of just 7.9 mm, a height of 0.9 mm, and weighing only 0.5 grams. The HT021 is designed for application on metal objects that require a non-invasive tag.
It can be applied with adhesive or through an insert moulding process. It’s available in HF (High Frequency) with the ICODE SLIX chip.
