ST25TB512 cards are HF contactless cards operating at a frequency of 13.56 MHz (carrier) and 847 kHz (subcarrier).
They operate in accordance with standard ISO 14443 Type B, referring to parts 2 — for power and radio frequency — and 3 — for initialisation and anti-collision features. The latter feature allows several tags to be read in the same magnetic field, avoiding errors.
Designed for short-range reading applications, ST25TB512 cards are ideal for access control, personal identification and as electronic wallets.
Finally, ST25TB512 cards are available in wood, measuring 86 mm x 54 mm x 1.3 mm, and in PVC and PETG, measuring 86 mm x 54 mm x 0.86 mm.
